Education

I am currently pursuing Computer Science at California State University, Los Angeles (CalStateLA), where I am part of the Honors College and the Early Entrance Program (EEP). This unique academic path has allowed me to dive deep into technology and research at an accelerated pace.

Research Focus

My primary research interests lie in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a particular focus on reinforcement learning and its applications. I am fascinated by how AI can adapt to progressively complex environments and its potential intersection with psychology.

Leadership & Involvement

At CalStateLA, I serve as Vice President of the AI/Machine Learning Club, where I manage projects, organize meetings, and facilitate discussions on emerging AI trends. I am also an active member of the Filipino Club, where I engage with my cultural heritage.

Cultural & Personal Background

Beyond technology, I have a strong musical background, playing the violin, guitar, and piano. I occasionally return to my high school to perform in concerts, maintaining my passion for music alongside my technical pursuits. My global perspective has been shaped by travels to France, Germany, Austria, and China, with plans for study abroad in China next year.

Future Goals

I am currently applying for various opportunities, including:

  • Study abroad experience in China
  • Workshop at Oxford University on Human Rights in War and the Climate Crisis
  • Internship opportunities, including an application at Riot Games
  • Scholarships to support my academic journey
